Credit spread

The extra yield of a bond over a government bond of the same maturity and currency, paid for credit and liquidity risk.

Yield curve The gap between a BBB corporate yield curve and the government curve is the credit spread. 2y 5y 10y 4.4% BBB bonds 5.1% 3% Government 3.5%
